BiogRichard studied film and history at the University of Kent in the UK for three years before graduating and going on to work in TV. He worked on a number of productions for the BBC, ITV, SKY and Channel 4 before accepting a place onto the Digital Filmmaking course at the Digital Film Academy in New York. In January 2010 Richard completed film school with his thesis project, ‘The Office of the Black Dog’, being selected for the New Filmmakers Film Festival in New York. He then worked on a variety of projects in the US including films, commercials and music videos, working as a Cinematographer, Camera Operator, Grip/Gaffer and Editor, before returning to the UK in May 2010. Richard is certified in Apple’s Final Cut Studio and Pro Tools sound editing software as well as specializing in the use of various HD Film Cameras and the specific lighting requirements for them. Richard is continuing to grow creatively and is always looking for ways to further build his body of work. He also hates writing about himself in the third person. |
